The annual “Digital Women of the World” event held within the scope of the International Women’s Day on March 10, 2022 with the theme ‘Women of the Digital World: WOMEN WHO LIVE AND MAKE OTHERS LIVE’. This theme stresses the fact that women play a pioneering role in the digital future and features their presence in all digital fields.
The need for female workforce grows at a digital age where technology rapidly develops and is renewed. Strengthening of women in the digital world and their assuming more effective roles both in management and on the ground. The aim of this initiative is to ensure that the ‘Women of the Digital World’ gather online at the event of “Women of the Digital World: Women who Live and Make Others Live’ to create and enhance awareness on ‘digital world’. This annual event, organized since 2019, was held on March 10 at 14:00-17:30 on the occasion of the International Women’s Day. The theme ‘Women of the Digital World: WOMEN WHO LIVE AND MAKE OTHERS LIVE’ stresses the fact that women play a pioneering role in the digital future and features their presence in all digital fields. This event is being held by the firm GLOBALNET Internet Technologies and Software under the leadership of Informatics Association of Turkiye (TBD).
