A panel was organized within the framework of IAT 35th National Informatics Congress under the BGK project on November 21, 2018 with the attendance of Nurcan ÖZYAZICI SUNAY, Chair of the Board of Directors of the Ankara Branch and Suna ÖZTOP SARIOĞLU, the coordinator of the BGK (Project on Women Entrepreneur engaged in Informatics), Gülhan ERDEM, Handan Köse from TOBB (Union of Chambers and Stock Exchanges of Turkiye), Serap KARABACAK from Ministry of National Education, Entrepreneur Meltem KOCA, and Pedagogist Sadık VURAL. The scope of the BGK (Informatics Congress) project and activities to raise the number of women engage in the project were discussed.
In this framework, the first workshop on “Getting to Know an Entrepreneur’s Profile” was held at the Informatics Association of Turkiye on January 11, 2019 under the leadership of the coach-mentor Dilek ER. Around 60 women attended the workshop.
